Gardening Tip #1:
Remove the deposits of salt that form on clay pots by combining equal parts of
rubbing alcohol, white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Cover the pot and
the scrub with the mixture using a plastic brush. Let the pot dry before
planting anything again.
Gardening Tip #2:
Increase the acidity of acid-preferring plants like azaleas, rhododendrons,
camellias, gardenias and blueberries by lightly sprinkling of about one-quarter
of an inch of tea and coffee grounds once a month to keep the pH of the soil on
the acidic side.

To quickly and easily dry the herbs, just put a sheet of newspaper on your car
seat and arrange the herbs in a single line, then close the windows and the
doors. The herbs will be quickly dried with perfection due to the heat created
in car. Plus, an added bonus, your car will smell nice too; also the type of soil and fertilizer plays an important

Utilize the water from boiled vegetables that usually get washed down the
drain, by watering patio plants and get amazed how your precious little plants
respond to vegetable soup!

Protect your fingernails from accumulating dirt while working in the garden by
drawing your fingernails across the bar soap. This will seal the underside of
your nails so the dirt won’t get collected beneath them. Then, after providing
TLC to your garden, wash your hands as you would normally do without paying
much attention to clean your fingernails.

Give your garden a calcium boost by grinding the egg shells into your blender,
till it comes in powder form and sprinkle this calcium powder in your garden.
